Hakaya

Hakaya works with storytelling as a living practice rather than an archive. Through workshops and public performances it brings together storytellers, artists and communities to tell the stories that shape a place: on the theater's stage, and out in neighbourhoods across Jordan.

The programme places particular emphasis on young people and on refugee communities, training participants to shape and perform their own material rather than only receive someone else's.
