Al Balad Music Festival
A regional music festival held every two years in the Roman Theater and the Odeon, in the heart of Amman.
Al Balad Music Festival hosts a wide assortment of local, regional and international artists, exposing audiences in Jordan to a rich and diverse range of genres and talents. We are grateful to say that we have helped introduce many Arab artists to their first audiences.
Since 2009 the festival has stood as a pillar for independent and emerging Arab musicians. More than fifty performances have been staged for audiences in Jordan, and there have been nine editions to date. The festival takes place in the heart of Amman in both the Ancient Roman Theater and the Odeon, usually across a week in the summer.
Through the festival we are able to bolster the talents, skills and audiences of independent and emerging Arab musicians, and to make possible collaborations between artists that otherwise would not happen.
